How do I attach meeting minutes or any document to our website for public access?

Follow

There are two ways to accomplish this:

1. Add a file to your Downloads page and link to the file.  OR
2. Add the file through the Document Manager on a page.

Instructions for #1:
1. How To Add A File To Your Downloads Page
    * From the Admin Site Map, click Content > Downloads
    * Click the Add A File button and follow the 3 steps to add the file to your Downloads page.

2. How To Link To A File On Your Downloads Page
   * From the Content > Page Edit page toolbar, follow these steps:
      * Select the page you want to modify from the Page dropdown.
      * Type the text you want to link to the file.
      * Select the text (by highlighting the text with your mouse cursor)
      * Click the "Links" drop down list in the upper Toolbar row on the right.  If you have uploaded one or more files to your Downloads page, you will see "Downloads" with a plus sign before the word "Downloads".
      * Click the plus sign.
      * Click the document you want to link to. The file name is inserted into your page as a link to the document.  You can also rename the link and keep the link to the document.
      * Click Save.

Instructions for #2:
1. How To Link To A File Using the Document Manager
   * From the Content > Page Edit page toolbar, follow these steps:
      * Select the page you want to modify from the Page dropdown.
      * Type the text you want to link to the file.
      * Select the text (by highlighting the text with your mouse cursor)
      * Click on the Document Manager icon (on the page editor's first row, look for the icon that looks like a little Word doc with a paper clip - once you move your cursor over the icon, the words "Document Manager" will display)
      * Click on "+ Upload".
      * Click "Select", find your file, click "Open".
      * Click "Upload".
      * Click on the file and click "Insert".
      * Click Save.
