How to update the Concussion Compliance date

Once all of your enrollments are finished for a season, complete the following steps to update the Concussion Compliance data:

 

Player Concussion Compliance:

  1. Run an Enrollment Information report (available under Reports > Report Exports).
    1. Select Type = Player.
    2. Select the Program.
    3. You need two columns in your report:
      1. Order Date
      2. Player Id - TeamSideline
    4. Select Export Type = Excel/Tab Delimited.
    5. Click the Export button.
  2. Open the file in Excel and save it as a CSV file.
  3. Click on Import Data (available under Administration).
    1. Click on Player Custom Field Import.
    2. Select the file you created.
    3. Check Include Headers.
    4. Select Custom Field = Player CC.
    5. Check Overwrite Existing Data.
    6. Click the Next Step button.
    7. Map the fields.
      1. Custom Field Value = Order Date
      2. Player Id = Player Id - TeamSideline
    8. Click the Next Step button.
    9. Click the Queue Import button.
    10. You will receive an email when the import has completed.
  4. Run the Detailed Roster report to verify the Concussion Compliance data is updated.

 

Coach Concussion Compliance:

  1. Run an Enrollment Information report (available under Reports > Report Exports).
    1. Select Type = Volunteer.
    2. Select the Program.
    3. You need three columns in your report:
      1. Order Date
      2. Enrollee First Name
      3. Enrollee Last Name
    4. Select Export Type = Excel/Tab Delimited.
    5. Click the Export button.
  2. Open the file in Excel and save it as a CSV file.
  3. Click on Import Data (available under Administration).
    1. Click on Parent Custom Field Import.
    2. Select the file you created.
    3. Check Include Headers.
    4. Select Custom Field = Coach CC.
    5. Check Overwrite Existing Data.
    6. Click the Next Step button.
    7. Map the fields.
      1. Custom Field Value = Order Date
      2. Parent First Name = Enrollee First Name
      3. Parent Last Name = Enrollee Last Name
    8. Click the Next Step button.
    9. Click the Queue Import button.
    10. You will receive an email when the import has completed.
  4. Run the Detailed Roster report to verify the Concussion Compliance data is updated.

 

Note: If there are multiple accounts for one person, the Concussion Compliance date will not be updated.  You will need to merge the accounts first and run the import again - however, you can always update the Concussion Compliance date manually with their latest order date.  This applies to both players and coaches.
